Personal Note!
Thank you for your prayers for Elaine and me. ‘Rebecca’s home going’ to be with Jesus is still a shock, as you can imagine. We have been praying a lot and seeking God. Many are asking, “How are you?” That is the hardest question to answer because there are no words to explain it. What we do know is that Rebecca is in heaven.
One thing that has helped us is knowing how many lives Rebecca touched. Her friends told us how she helped, encouraged, and prayed for them. She was ready to come to their aid at any time. Let us not be spectators. Rebecca’s life on earth was short, but she used it to bless others. Let us use our lives to reach out to others and glorify Jesus. Her friends and pastors commented that they loved to see her worship because she didn’t hold back. Let us worship the Lord with our whole heart. She accomplished more in those 23 years than many have in their lifetime.
Two pastors shared with us Isaiah 57:1-2:
“Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time … No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. For those who follow godly paths will rest in peace when they die.”
Sister Charlotte, while praying, asked, “Why, Lord?” She felt God said He had work for her to do. Another pastor said he felt that “The Lord wanted her for Himself.” What a compliment—Jesus’ love for her and her love for Him. All the questions will be answered in heaven someday.

World Proof Your Children:
RFM is working on a program to help parents arm their children with the facts from scripture needed to combat the lies of the Devil. This program will show how the Bible and science do not contradict. Scripture speaks the truth about creation, and our children and teens need to be ready when teachers and friends try to discredit their faith. This is a huge goal. Please pray for wisdom and direction.
RaceTeam:
We look forward to doing some RaceTeam training in October. The program’s goal is to train people on how to lead children, teens, and adults to the Lord. Sharing with others how wonderful God’s love is can leave us reaching for words. This program helps people feel confident by giving them the tools they need to be witnesses for Christ. If you ever wanted to know how to start a conversation that can lead people to Jesus, we can help you.
Hydrate:
RFM is praying for sponsors for the Hydrate ministry training for the Sunday school program of Jamaica West Indies. This would be the second team Kevin has coached in this program. Hydrate is a program where the student receives videos and notes to review with a coach. The videos include experienced children’s ministry directors teaching practical things you need to know, like how to hold children’s attention and discipline in the classroom.
Once again, thank you, “Partners in Ministry,” for helping us lead over 133,500 people to Jesus in 31 years of ministry. Pray that we can inspire thousands more to push back their fears and lead people of all ages to Jesus Christ!
