We are now making our transition into the summer schedule
Hoover Road Apartment
Now that school is getting out for the summer we are pausing the Hoover outreach until late August.
We finished up teaching The 5 things we get to do when we love Jesus.
They are:
- Read the Bible,
- Do what Jesus says,
- Pray-talk to God,
- Attend Church
- Tell others about Jesus.
If they could say the 5 things, (maybe with a little help) they could race in the “stack the cups” game.
The great Rossini gave the Gospel in Sanford NC
Kevin as the great Rossini gave the Gospel in Sanford NC. After he led 5 children to the Lord they went out into the park to collect Easter eggs filled with candy.
All ages were welcome. There was also a prayer tent. At the end of the event adults had a chance to win 3 gift cards if they stayed.
New Evangelistic Shirt
The Race Team gospel message shirt has been made more exciting. We have always shared tools for evangelism with everyone to encourage people to share the Gospel.
The Bible Reliability Project
What is a fossil?
You might say dinosaur bones buried deep in the earth. That is true but it also includes other animals, on the land and in the water, birds and plants.
What do you need to create a fossil?
A fossil is any living thing that is
- Covered fast
- Covered deep
- Has limited oxygen
- And lots of water that seeps through the soil to bring minerals.
These pieces allow it to harden over time. Some t-rex, & other fossils have been found with soft tissue that did not harden. Soft tissue tested in the lab shows it only last 100,000’s of years not millions.
In the Messel Pit, Germany an archaeologist found a fossilized bird with a soft oil gland still remaining. This fossil can’t be millions of years old and still have a soft oil gland. Fossils like this bird match the Bible’s account of the world wide flood of Noah’s day, 4,500 years ago. The bones tell us the Bible speaks the truth.
Jamaica Missions Trip
Kevin will be doing ministry in Jamaica 2 weeks from June14-28, 2025. The Assemblies of God in Jamaica wants him to do more training and evangelism. Bishop Clarke ask him to help with a team from Florida. When Kevin was there in May of 2024, 3,000 gave their lives to Jesus. The trip costs about $2,000 depending on cost of airfare. Thank you! to those who have already donated.
